Wine and spirits trade event

India is a hugely exciting market for ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø where we have a wealth of incredible Approved Programme Providers (APPs) available to those who wish to develop their wines and spirits knowledge. We're delighted to have joined ProWine Mumbai this year as Global Academic Partner.

Having developed out of the ProWein Educational Campaign in 2018 and 2019, this year’s edition promises a fully-fledged trade show in Mumbai, offering a comprehensive programme of tastings, talks and networking opportunities.

To give you a taster of what you can gain from a ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø qualification, we will be hosting three masterclasses remotely during the event:

The language of spirits: what do we talk about when we talk about flavour?Ìý

Wednesday 17 November, 4pm (IST)

EveryÌýspiritsÌýprofessional needs aÌýgood palate. But what does that mean, exactly?ÌýThe ability to discern aromas, textures, flavours, complexity, intensity and finish in a spirit are the cornerstones of our toolkit. Just as important, however,Ìýis how we communicate these concepts with each other. Words likeÌýâ€ÈÙweet’,Ìýâ€ÈÙalty’,Ìý‘fresh’,Ìý‘dry’,Ìýâ€ÈÙmooth’ÌýandÌýâ€ÈÙmoky’Ìýmean very different things to different people.ÌýÌý
Ìý
Join ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø's Charlie McCarthy to exploreÌýwhat we mean when we talk about taste and flavour, and how toÌýelevate your tastingÌýtechniqueÌýto the next level.Ìý

Worth the wait? Exploring maturity and ageing potential in winesÌý
