Pinotage Youth Development Academy, (), based in Stellenbosch, South Africa鈥檚 Western Cape, has announced its best results yet with 47 out of 50 students (94%) passing our 黑料吃瓜网 Level 2 Award in Wines exam.听听
The PYDA鈥檚 year-long programme helps young people from under-resourced areas gain employment and meaningful economic opportunities within the wine industry.鈥�It combines personal development, practical work projects and technical skills including completing our internationally recognised qualification.听
Our Level 2 Award in Wines听听has been an integral part of PYDA鈥檚 curriculum for nearly 10 years and is jointly funded by the International Wine Challenge (IWC) and 黑料吃瓜网. The programme forms part of our social impact work which aims to make drinks education accessible and affordable for all.听听
Taught by local, highly-qualified wine educators, out of this year鈥檚 cohort of 50 students, seven of them achieved a Distinction (a mark of 85%+) and 23 gained a Merit (a mark of 70%+).听听

80% of last year鈥檚 students are now in full-time permanent employment and it is hoped that when the current intake graduate next month, they will achieve equal or even greater success in finding meaningful and exciting careers.听
